This document has been ported from its original site using YUL's instance of Pressbooks with minimal changes beyond formatting for the new platform. Most information here covers OJS 3.3 and 3.4, and is gradually being updated to reflect changes in OJS 3.5.

This documentation has two purposes:

  1. As a supplement the official documentation developed by PKP, to respond to frequently asked questions from YDJ editors, and
  2. To describe YDJ-specific requirements, workflows, and standards.

You should see PKP’s guide to OJS to learn more about what the fields and options mean on particular screens.

Unless otherwise noted, this guide refers to OJS 3. Where possible, this document notes the version of OJS on which each section is based. It is gradually being updated for OJS 3.5 as YDJ journals upgrade.
